The sculpture is designed in response to the architecture of the new building and the spirit and mission of Saint Agnes Hospital. The piece is intended to be very graceful; the gentle calligraphic curves will convey a sense of fluid movement as the pieces constantly move and create new configurations. While they appear clean and simple the evolving interaction of the forms will be interesting and afford a pleasant experience for people who are waiting in the atrium area. The feeling is to be one of serenity. It is hoped that the sculpture will be uplifting and positive in effect.
